Sprouts and Instacart Join Forces

Shoppers in Phoenix, Arizona will soon have an easier way to fill their cupboards with healthy choices. Sprouts Farmers Market Inc., which specializes in natural and organic foods, has announced plans to work with Instacart. This popular home delivery service promises same-day shipments of their orders. Several areas in Phoenix and Tucson will be able to take advantage of this convenient plan. More regions in Arizona are scheduled to be added later this year.

Home delivery for groceries and other goods is becoming a huge market. Amazon ships groceries to consumers through their Prime Now program. They also recently bought Whole Foods, a Sprouts competitor, to further expand their organic food choices. Target is partnering with Shipt to provide same-day grocery delivery, as well. They hope to grow this service to include the remainder of their products in the next two years. Sprouts will continue their contract with Amazon Prime Now, which is offered in only eight cities currently.
