Phoenix Police Release Video of Vehicle in Fatal Hit-and-Run

The Phoenix Police Department have released video of the vehicle suspected to be involved in last week’s fatal hit-and-run.

Authorities say that the vehicle is a white Ford Expedition between the years of 2007 and 2010. The SUV had visible damage to the windshield and was missing the passenger side mirror. Phoenix Police are working to locate the driver of the vehicle.

Taylor White, a 21-year-old GCU student was jogging and stepped into a crosswalk near the Grand Canyon University campus when he was killed in the hit-and-run. Police say the driver of the SUV went around other cars, ignoring the red light and proceeded into the intersection.

White and an unnamed 17-year-old were crossing the street with a green light near 31st Avenue and Camelback Road on Sunday at 8:20 p.m.

Witnesses reported the westbound white SUV ignored a red light and hit the runner. The other jogger was unharmed.

The Phoenix Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information on the accident and/or the SUV. Tips can be left at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO (Spanish).
