Now Flying Direct To Frankfurt, Germany

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport welcomed the first plane from Frankfurt, Germany with Mayor Greg Stanton and local leaders. Condor Airlines, a company operating under the Thomas Cook Group company operate the new direct route between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Frankfurt Airport twice a week through September. The flight will operate on Mondays and Fridays, and will and will help to create international revenue through tourism 

“By offering Phoenix residents and visitors direct service to another major international hub —Frankfurt, Germany — we’re growing our international presence and global connectivity,” said Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton. “The new service provides a convenient connection to and from Phoenix for business and leisure travelers alike, and that’s good for our growing economy.”

Condor Airline customers now have the ability to conveniently connect to other European destinations.  Condor offers 90 different destinations from the Frankfurt Airport. Once flyers have reached the Germany based hub, they can then travel to 300 destinations on 5 different continents.


The new route offers passengers will be able to relax on a 250 seat Boeing 767-300ER with complimentary checked baggage, drinks, food, and in-flight entertainment without any additional cost to the customer. There are 18 Business Class seats with USB ports, lie-flat seats, in-seat entertainment system, a gourmet meal and complimentary alcohol. The Premium Class seats offer an adjusting seat and headrest, drinks and meals, also at no cost. The Condor Airline also offers the TSA Pre-Check Program for all of their passengers.

The new flight into Sky Harbor will greatly benefit the local economy.  International flights into Phoenix bring in an estimated $3 billion dollars every year.
