Medieval Dinner Theater to be Built in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community

If you love medieval knights and forkless dinner shows, you’re in luck. The dinner-theater Medieval Times is coming to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The show will offer dinner, jousting knights, and sword fights.

A source stated that the company researched several states before choosing Arizona, and it’ll be the theater’s 10th location in North America. The entertainment complex will be open all year, and the grand opening will be early 2019.

Ground is going to be broken for the theater in April, and the facility will feature a 79,000-square-foot castle and a 1,000-seat arena.

The theater will be built within the Talking Stick Entertainment District near the Loop 101 and E. Via de Ventura on 10 acres north of Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.

Many in the area are excited about Medieval Times because it’ll bring quality entertainment to the area. In addition to the theater, the Salt River Fields area has seen large amounts of growth in the last few years.

Great Wolf Lodge recently announced a 350-room hotel and indoor water park that will be built near Pima and Hummingbird Lane.

Additionally, an aquarium, dolphin experience, ice bar, and animatronic dinosaur attraction has joined the Desert complex in Odysea.
