General Election Day: What You Need To Know To Vote

Tuesday is Election Day, and record turnouts are expected in Arizona. Before you head to the polls, make sure you have the information you need to be prepared to vote.

Where can I vote?

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. You must be in line by 7 p.m., in order to vote. Click here to find your polling location visit.

In addition to your assigned polling place, there are 40 locations that anyone can vote at. Click here to view the locations.

What should I bring to the polls?

All voters must bring a form of identification to the polls. The following photo IDs are accepted:

  • Valid Arizona driver’s license.
  • Valid Arizona non-operating ID license.
  • Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal ID.
  • Valid U.S. federal, state or local government issued ID.

If you do not have one of these ID’s, visit the recorder’s office for a list of other acceptable forms of ID.

Still Have You Mail-In Ballot?

If you received a mail-in ballot but have not returned it yet, do not put it in the mail. The deadline has passed and your ballot will not be counted. Any polling locations on Election Day will accept your completed ballot. It is important to note that you do not have to wait in line. When you arrive, ask the poll workers to direct you to the drop-off bin.

When will the election results be available?

The first set of results will consist of early ballots received and processed before Election Day. Those results will start to post on Election Night at 8 p.m. Additional results will roll in throughout Tuesday evening. To watch the results visit the recorders website.
