Home Free Admission For Children This Summer At The Phoenix Art Museum

July 3, 2018

The Phoenix Art Museum is offering a special deal this summer: children and teenagers, 17 and younger, will be allowed free admission into the museum’s galleries and exhibitions all summer long.

The program begins on July 1 and ends on September 30.

According to museum officials, the program was organized after they received a “generous gift” from the Steel Foundation, an Arizona-based charity that grants money to groups who organize educational and cultural activities for children.

The museum is typically open Tuesday through Sunday, and closed on Monday.

Children pay $9 to $14 for regular admission, while adults pay $18 to $23. The museum is located at 1625 N. Central Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85004.

Patrons are invited to view the museum’s latest exhibition, In the Company of Women, on July 6, featuring artwork from 20th and 21st century women like Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Faith Ringgold.
