‘Family Feud’ To Hold January Tryouts In Phoenix

The long-running game show “Family Feud” is coming to the Valley for tryouts Jan. 19-20 and now is the time for interested families to get ready.

Prospective contestants will need to apply online and submit a video online that exhibits why their team should receive a spot on the show hosted by comedian Steve Harvey.

The following round will consist of appointments made by producers with prospective families, which will then include a mock version of the game.

What are the producers looking for? Survey says:

  • Energy.
  • Enthusiasm.
  • Ability to play the game.

For the best chance at getting selected, make sure the video is around 3-5 minutes in length and includes what makes your family special.

A team must consist of five family members that are related by blood, marriage or adoption and be U.S. citizens or have permission to work in the U.S.

There is no official age requirement set for the show, but it is suggested that contestants be at least 15 years old due to the nature of some questions.

More information can be found at the show’s website and by calling its hotline at 323-762-8467.
