Cross Roads Preschool and Kindergarten Teacher Melissa Kovalesky Among INFINITI Hardwood Heroes

INFINITI is raising awareness for Cancer research and survival.

The luxury car brand has partnered with the NCAA and Coaches vs. Cancer to host a basketball game during the NCAA Men’s Final Four Weekend where two teams of cancer survivors — called Hardwood Heroes — will go head-to-head at the University of Phoenix Stadium on March 31.

Among the Hardwood Heroes is 33-year old Cross Roads Preschool and Kindergarten teacher Melissa Kovalesky.

Kovalesky, who was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, is determined to defy the odds of her incurable type of cancer. Currently with undetectable levels of leukemic cells, she says she’s never been stronger physically and just beginning to write her story.

You can join INFINITI in the fight against Cancer by entering each of the six CBS Sports Round by Round Brackets. For every correct pick INFINITI will make a donation to Coaches vs. Cancer® and you’ll be entered to win a trip to the 2018 Final Four®.
