In an effort to demonstrate its support for the LGBTQ community, the city of Phoenix installed rainbow-painted crosswalks throughout the city.
The new rainbow crosswalks can be found near Central and First Avenues at Portland Street and Seventh Avenue at Glenrosa.
The installations come after the Phoenix city council approved the rainbow-painted crosswalks earlier this year.
The Phoenix Pride Community Foundation and one-n-ten funded are funding the project.
The City of Phoenix reminds all drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists to follow the same basic rules for crossing the street.
