Best Places to Live Now Lists Phoenix -Roosevelt Row

Phoenix now ranks on a national list of top 25 hot urban neighborhoods. Roosevelt Row, located north of downtown Phoenix, has now been listed #24 by Hot Spot Rentals, a real estate firm.

The area, which originally made a name for itself based on its artist population and new development, now joins the list with other illustrious neighborhoods like Mission District (San Francisco), Bushwick (Brooklyn), Capitol Hill (Seattle), North Park (San Diego) and Pearl District (Portland), among others.

New apartment complexes are capitalizing on the areas growth, with rents in the neighborhood of $1,500+ for a one bedroom and more development on the way.
The Roosevelt Row area has benefited from the Metro light and the growth of ASU’s various downtown campuses, including Thunderbird School of Global Management, which is scheduled to move to Downtown from Glendale. ASU now has over 11,000 students downtown, driving development in the area.
