The recent hit “Hamilton” has started a new trend in theater. Musicals are becoming more diverse, in music, in the telling of the story, and due to the huge success of “Hamilton”, the ASU Gammage is bringing back quite a few other hit shows.  Building on the success of “Hamilton”, the theater also seeks to bring back “The Book of Mormon”, “Wicked”, and “Rent”. On top of the normal run of shows the theater plans to promote, these will be specials that theater buffs and new theater aficionados will love. There are also several main season running shows that are working up to be great hits. Here is the list of shows coming to the Broadway Series in the 2018-2919 season:
