American Idol Auditions Coming To Scottsdale This August

Do you have what it takes to be the next American Idol?

The American Idol audition bus is heading to Arizona later this month and will be stopping over in Scottsdale. The show, heading into its second season on ABC, is looking for the next round of contestants.

The open call audition will be help at Alpio’s at Troon on August 28.

You don’t even have to finish first on the show to win, Season One Contestant Trevor Holmes claims. According to this songwriter from California, his career has taken off thanks to the publicity he got from being on American Idol. His Instagram account has blossomed from about 80,000 followers to nearly 240,000.

Holmes claims he almost didn’t audition because he was too nervous. Don’t let nerves hold you back, get those vocal chords ready and see if you have what it takes.

If you plan to audition in person, you must register online  by picking the city you want to register in and providing personal information, such as full name, date of birth and email address.

To be eligible, you must be between 15 and 28 years old, a United States resident and have an unrestricted right to work in United States.

Aspiring stars should be prepared to sing at least two songs of their choice, either a cappella or with your own instrumental accompaniment.

If you can’t make it to open call, you can also submit an online audition.
