For those that have had one too many glasses of eggnog this holiday season, AAA is offering safe ride services across the state. 

New Year’s from 6 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 6 a.m. on Jan. 1., Arizonans can call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO or (800) AAA-HELP if you don’t feel sober enough to drive home.

Through the program Tipsy Tow, AAA membership isn’t required to utilize the service.

“We offer this program multiple times throughout year and it typically coincides with periods that involve celebrations with friends and families,” AAA spokeswoman Michelle Donati said. “Often times those celebrations involve alcohol.”

Prior to holiday celebrations, AAA recommends people plan ahead for transportation or make plans to stay with friends.
